Abbott to Test Drive GreenFleet Program to Cut Vehicle Emissionsarticle
Health care giant Abbott is the first company to sign on to PHH GreenFleet, designed to improve vehicle efficiency and reduce fuel consumption among commercial fleets. GreenFleet was developed jointly by PHH Arval and Environmental Defense to reduce pollution among the approximately nine million U.S. vehicles registered to commercial vehicle fleets.

Survey of Emissions Models for Distributed Combined Heat and Power Systems --report
Despite the growth in recent years of energy-efficient combined heat and power (CHP) systems, few tools exist to measure their environmental benefits, according to a new study. The report, from American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) reviews existing models‚ attempts to quantify or describe the emissions effects of CHP systems. The models surveyed vary in design, scope, and detail, but they all commonly seek to capture the functions of an energy economy and use knowledge of economic interactions to simulate the effects of economic and policy changes.
