And now the news

The Emissions Trifecta: Combining Title V, Air Emissions and GHG Reporting
Description: With greenhouse gas (GHG) and other pollutants meeting increased scrutiny worldwide, governmental agencies have put multiple regulations and environmental programs in place to tackle this growing problem. But effectively tracking and managing data for Title V, an air emissions inventory and the EPA's new mandatory GHG reporting rule can prove to be overwhelming for companies, consuming significant time, personnel and budget resources.

Don't Take the Wrong Decision Shortcuts
The benefit of an almost inexhaustible supply of facts, figures and data can often be a double-edged sword in our increasingly complex, information-overloaded world. While having all the pertinent facts is critical to good decision-making, at the same time conflicting information can leave us stuck and uncertain of how to proceed.

Early Employer-Based Flu Vaccinations Can Improve the Bottom Line
Each year, influenza poses a tremendous burden on working adults and the many businesses that employ them, contributing to absenteeism and lost productivity. Even so, annual influenza immunization rates remain very low. New data shows that employer-sponsored influenza vaccination programs held early in the flu season not only protect employee health, but also save businesses money.

Cloud Computing Can Cut Carbon Emissions by 30% to 90%
By moving business applications to cloud computing, large organizations can reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions 30 percent or more compared to running those apps on their own infrastructure, according to a study released by Microsoft, Accenture and WSP Environment & Energy. The study also finds that small businesses can garner substantially higher savings. Download the study, ” Cloud Computing and Sustainability: The Environmental Benefits of Moving to the Cloud”.

Recycled: What Happens to Unused Texas Rangers World Series Gear?
The San Francisco Giants stormed this year's World Series, much to the delight of local sports gear vendors. But what happened to all that unsold Texas Rangers gear? Much of the Rangers clothing printed ahead of time for the World Series will go to kids in developing countries, thanks to the charity World Vision.
