Schneider Electric is looking for a Safety and Environmental Systems Project Manager. The purpose of this job is to support Schneider Electric's North American environment and process improvement programs. One of the primary responsibilities will be to lead the North American implementation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of a global safety and environmental information management system. The ideal candidate will also be supporting the North American safety & environment process improvement initiatives, focusing on consistency, standardization, and simplification of North American safety and environmental compliance and management systems policies, processes & procedures. S/he would work with SH&E Directors, and SHE & site managers, other internal staff, and possibly external consultant staff. The job's major outcome is ensuring process improvement and standardization. The position will also support other initiatives led by the Director, Environment and Process Improvement, such as property risk management, including environmental remediation portfolio management. A BS Degree in Engineering or Sciences is required along with 10+ years of EHS information systems experience.

EHS Manager, Ultralife Corp., Newark, NY
Ultralife Corporation is seeking a professional to actively manage environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities for its US-based operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter, interested in assuming a leadership role in transforming Ultralife’s safety culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of developing and implementing effective health and safety management systems that drive improved performance. The focus of this position will be primarily on health and safety with ongoing support for ISO 14001 and environmental compliance activities. The ideal candidate will manages corporate and operational activities related to environmental, health and safety (EHS); with strong focus on health and safety management systems which drive performance improvement. Environmental Safety & Health Technician, Enhesa, Freeport, IL
Enhesa is looking for a mid-level candidate for an Environmental Safety & Health Professional (ESH) position. The technician will be responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance at a manufacturing site located in Freeport, Illinois. The position requires a working knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements (EPA, OSHA, DOT, etc.), and a familiarity with the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 ESH management systems is preferred. The successful candidate should have good communication skills, both written and verbal, good presentation and training skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and be a team-player. Other aspects of the position and our firm will be discussed with individuals selected for interviews.
