Four lessons from the best bosses I ever had - Blog
Bosses and mentors come in sizes and leadership styles. Here are four that stand out.

Plasma gasification raises hopes of clean energy from garbage - Article
A method has been developed with the Air Force to dispose of garbage with neither the harmful byproducts of conventional incineration nor the environmental impact of transporting and burying waste. It is one of several innovative techniques that the United States military has been researching to provide alternatives to the open-pit burns use in war zones.  The system devours municipal garbage, recycles metals, blasts toxic contaminants and produces electricity and usable byproducts — all with drastic reductions in emissions.

U.N. CDM carbon trading system has "essentially collapsed" - Article
Although billions of dollars have been raised in the past seven years through the United Nations' Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) to set up greenhouse gas-cutting projects in poor nations, the system has "essentially collapsed". A panel convened by the UN reported on Monday at a meeting in Bangkok that the system, known as the was in dire need of rescue. The panel warned that allowing the CDM to collapse would make it harder in future to raise finance to help developing countries cut carbon.
