Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Environmental Leader to be located at their Salt Lake City site. The Global Environmental Leader is responsible for designing, implementing, improving, and managing programs, systems, and initiatives that support Hexcel's commitment to environmental excellence. This position is responsible for assuring the environmental regulatory compliance of all Hexcel operations worldwide, and their continuous performance improvement. The position is also accountable for the successful closure of legacy sites, the proactive due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and the support of litigation challenges as needed. The selected individual will be responsible for the following efforts: assuring that the EMS is relevant to operations and is in conformance to the company's expectations, revising and implementing a more focused and effective environmental auditing program and where appropriate support the implementation of ISO 14000, developing and implementing a corporate program that assures operational compliance with the various environmental reporting obligations, along with a myriad of other relevant responsibilities.
