Givaudan Corp. is the global leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, offering its products to global, regional and local food, beverage, consumer goods and fragrance companies. They are looking for a Corporate EHS Manager. This individual will direct and support management of all Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) programs at North American Fragrance sites in compliance with Givaudan's EHS policies & processes and with all applicable local, state, and federal EHS regulations. S/he will also be asked to direct and support management of all Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) programs at North American Fragrance sites in compliance with Givaudan EHS policies & processes and with all applicable local, state, and federal EHS regulations. Some core responsibilities include managing compliance activities including preparation, review, training and auditing of procedures, interpreting all related EHS regulations and develops local policies to assure compliance, recommending and driving change to improve EHS performance and reduce incidents/risk, and representing management during applicable audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and cross-divisional audits. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health, & Safety Science, Engineering, or Management (or related fields) is required, along with 6-10 years' experience in EH&S programs in a manufacturing setting. Experience must include Air, Hazardous Waste, Wastewater, EPCRA and OSHA compliance programs and participation in Emergency Response Teams.
BNSF Railway Company, Fort Worth, TX
BNSF Railway operates one of the nation's largest rail networks, with approximately 32,000 route miles in 28 states across the western two-thirds of the United States. BNSF is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. They are looking for an Environmental Manager. The Environmental Planning and Permitting Manager will lead the permitting strategy for BNSF's rail yard operations and provide subject matter expertise to drive the priorities and vision of BNSF's Planning and Permitting Program. The role resides within BNSF's Corporate Environmental Team, reporting to the Director of Environmental Permitting and Planning, and will assume project responsibilities ranging from permit development, negotiations, agency project/client meetings, project site visits, etc. Some core responsibilities include managing BNSF's Environmental Planning and Permitting projects to include, developing and reviewing state and federal environmental impact documents, and providing project management until agencies have signed off on mitigation implementation. A B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or other Engineering/Scientific degree is required but an M.S. degree is preferred. Specialized training and/or a professional certification is desirable. A minimum of 5 years of railroad environmental compliance or equivalent experience with permitting linear projects is required. Direct experience in the preparation of NEPA documentation (EIS, EA, Categorical Exclusions, etc.) is required. TWIC only.

This position will lead corporate Environmental, Health, & Safety efforts to develop and deploy strategies to achieve year-over-year performance improvements in EHS process areas and objectives. This position will also lead in the development of EHS management systems that delivers best in class performance and creates an environment of continuous improvement. The ideal individual builds trust and confidence with the operations team and influences change through building and maintaining management systems, data analysis and strategic process implementation and improvements. Some core responsibilities include This working with subject-matter experts by setting goals, monitoring projects, developing improvement strategies and maintaining strong communications with Regional EHS managers and operations partners, communicating the company's vision for achieving EHS excellence, assisting in strategic action planning to achieve key EHS objectives and sustainability targets, and identifying best practices and facilitate the exchange of those best practices across the organization. BS degree in relevant field is required. 7-10+ years of progressive experience in EHS program leadership in one of the following industries is required: Power Generation, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Petro Chemicals, Pulp & Paper. Experience with multinational organizations, development of management systems such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is desired.
Confidential Company - Manufacturer of energetic materials, Western, TN
A confidential client who is a manufacturer of energetic materials is looking for an EHS VP. This person will be asked to created policy development and implementation; program management auditing. S/he will also be tasked with assisting all department in the preparation and achievement of Management Systems certification; reviewing significant incidents to ensure that the appropriate root cause is completed and corrective actions implemented; collating, compile and report statistics for use as required and to develop new metrics as appropriate to ensure that the best practices of PSM are applied to new and existing areas including blast modeling, building configuration and hazard analysis; to oversee the energy efficiency programs. This position reports to the President at this 450 non-union facility. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of EHS experience some of which should include explosive safety experience from a DoD facility; BS in Safety or related is required.
