They are looking for a Product Systems Sustainability Leader to lead the development and deployment of K-C's enterprise-wide sustainable products and packaging strategies and capabilities designed to enhance the company's long term value proposition with investors, customers, partners and employees in support of overall corporate strategy and business goals. Principal Accountabilities will be to drive innovation, value creation and competitive advantage through product/packaging sustainability practices by implementing systems, tools and best practices, and building the sustainability mindset and capabilities of product development, marketing and packaging teams and support business unit teams with product system and technology evaluations using life cycle assessment and related approaches (e.g. carbon and water footprinting, ecosystem services evaluation, etc.). BS required with Engineering or MS preferred. 5 - 7 years' experience in an innovation capacity in a globally matrixed organization, preferably with experience in "green product" development is required. Demonstrated practical knowledge in the use of lifecycle thinking and lifecycle tools such as SimaPro and GaBi a plus.

Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch is the leading American brewer. They are looking for an In House EHS Manager. The EHS Manager will direct and oversee the EHS Department and will be responsible for EHS improvement initiatives, objectives and regulatory compliance issues and provides leadership to senior management team on these objectives and issues. This person is the lead individual that represents the facility to external regulatory agencies (i.e. EPA, OSHA, Dept of Transportation etc). Requirements include a BS in safety, environmental or other related disciplines along with 5+ years experience in safety or environmental. Previous manufacturing experience preferred; brewery experience a plus.

W. W. Grainger, Inc. is a Fortune 500 industrial supply company. The company is a perennial member of Fortune magazine's list of Most Admired Companies. They are looking for a Corporate EHS Manager who will report to the EHS Director. The Corporate EHS Manager is primarily responsible for driving implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives for U.S. business subsidiaries. This includes driving short-term and long-term objectives that include managing resources, measuring quantitative objectives and increasing technology to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory standards affecting these business areas. The Corporate EHS Manager is also responsible for providing interpreting the impact of federal, state and local regulations and/or proposed legislation relevant to the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and National Fire Protection Codes. Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Industrial Hygiene and/or other related engineering majors with relevance to HSE experience. CSP or CHMM a plus. Ten (10) years of HSE experience, preferably in the warehouse and distribution industry. Must have knowledge of environmental, health and safety laws and international standards related to EHS (e.g. ISO / OHSAS standards).

Established in 1982, AIAG is a not-for-profit association where professionals from a diverse group of stakeholders work collaboratively to streamline industry processes via global standards development & harmonized business practices. They are looking for an EHS Manager. This Program Manager will manage collaborative projects involving members throughout the automotive supply chain. Issues areas include Environmental Sustainability, Environmental Performance Metrics, Chemical Management & Regulation, Greenhouse Gas Estimating & Reporting and others. S/he will be asked to support the Program Management staff addressing critical issues in the Automotive supply chain, recruit members, and volunteers to ensure adequate resources to solve the problem, manage the project, and promote its adoption and Facilitate project logistics such as meetings and conference calls for corporate responsibility initiatives. BS degree in relevant field required. Automotive related experience, a plus.
Downs Associates, Greensboro, NC
Our client, a growing division of a multi-billion dollar, US based, Fortune manufacturing corporation has an immediate need for an EH&S Manager for one of their key facilities located outside of Winston Salem, NC. The EHS Manager will report to the General Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is expected to lead the EH&S team and have responsibility for both Strategic development & Tactical delivery of programs / initiatives to ensure full compliance of Corporate EH&S guidelines and all applicable Local, State & Federal regulations. Additionally, the EH&S Mgr will be responsible for the design / implementation of a state of the art Safety program that will drive change toward zero unsafe action and a zero unsafe condition culture for this major Manufacturing facility of Electro-Mechanical products. The successful candidate will have 10+ yrs plant level EH&S exp with 3+ years as a Manager for a major Manufacturing Corporation(s) and be able to show measurable. A Bachelors degree (Safety, Engineering or Technical major preferred) is required for consideration with a Masters &/or CSP highly preferred.
