UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas has an excellent opportunity for you to join as their Director of EH&S. In this key role you will oversee the management of academic, research and clinical compliance in EH&S policies for our academic medical center. As the Director of EH&S, you will determine and set health and safety standards while also planning and developing overall strategy for EH&S institutional support in radiation safety, laser safety, biological safety, chemical safety, fire and life safety, occupational safety and environmental monitoring. It will also be your responsibility to direct and manage the development and training of environmental health and safety program managers and supervisors. Job Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering Technologies or a related field and at least 5 years related experience in the management of staff and operations within an EH&S department at an academic medical center or institution. Master's degree or PhD in Safety Engineering or related field preferred.

The Chief Counsel - EHSS is a key member of the SABIC leadership team with primary responsibility for providing EHSS legal support for all EHSS programs and operations across the Company. Tasks and Responsibilities include leading the environmental health and safety program for site and home based staff. The majority of the EH&S work will be in San Diego and Hayward California sites. You will have one or more direct reports and utilize contract resources where appropriate and will be responsible for the environmental compliance program for North and South America with emphasis on the air quality and hazardous waste programs. Will also be responsible for the Health and safety programs with emphasis on process safety management and bulk pharmaceutical solvent use. Regular travel from San Diego to Northern California will be required. Infrequent travel to other parts of North and South America will occur. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Health and safety or related field preferred, along with 8+ years relevant experience.
