BS degree in technical discipline (occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science or engineering or equivalent) required, MS preferred. The Dakota Compliance Services Team is comprised of Environmental, Health and Safety professionals who support our clients in all facets of Dakota software implementation and utilization. The Compliance Services Team is responsible for speeding integration and assisting clients to leverage all product capabilities by combining practical EHS knowledge with technical expertise. This position reports to the Director of Compliance Services. Responsibilities include the following: Assisting clients with full EHS implementation of all products in the Dakota Proactivity Suite, Developing client profiles, building regulatory tasks, and developing site specific audit protocols as required by the client, Performing third party audits and reporting and a myriad of other typical EHS responsibilities. BS in science, engineering or related field is required, along with 8-12 years of professional experience including onsite EHS compliance work. UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas has an excellent opportunity for you to join as their Director of EH&S. In this key role you will oversee the management of academic, research and clinical compliance in EH&S policies for our academic medical center. As the Director of EH&S, you will determine and set health and safety standards while also planning and developing overall strategy for EH&S institutional support in radiation safety, laser safety, biological safety, chemical safety, fire and life safety, occupational safety and environmental monitoring. It will also be your responsibility to direct and manage the development and training of environmental health and safety program managers and supervisors. Job Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering Technologies or a related field and at least 5 years related experience in the management of staff and operations within an EH&S department at an academic medical center or institution. Master's degree or PhD in Safety Engineering or related field preferred.

The Chief Counsel - EHSS is a key member of the SABIC leadership team with primary responsibility for providing EHSS legal support for all EHSS programs and operations across the Company. Tasks include guidance to the EHSS leadership team and the businesses on issues related to regulatory requirements, reduction of liability exposure, response to agency investigations and enforcement, implementation of compliance assurance programs and participation in legislative and rulemaking advocacy. This position should be closely aligned with the EHSS and Manufacturing operations in a team-based approach to solving problems. Other responsibilities include collaborating closely with General Counsel, EHSS leadership, Regional Counsel, SBU leaders and Manufacturing leaders in serving EHSS global legal needs and working to evaluate and structure the EHSS legal aspects for key business activities such as business development, acquisitions and divestitures, new products, etc. Qualifications/Requirements include a law degree from excellent academic institution, Qualification as a counsel in good standing -- 10+ years of EHSS Legal experience with international law firm and/or global company, strong knowledge of EHSS legal and regulatory environment, including experience in regulation of chemicals.

Tasks and Responsibilities include leading the environmental health and safety program for site and home based staff. The majority of the EH&S work will be in San Diego and Hayward California sites. You will have one or more direct reports and utilize contract resources where appropriate and will be responsible for the environmental compliance program for North and South America with emphasis on the air quality and hazardous waste programs. Will also be responsible for the Health and safety programs with emphasis on process safety management and bulk pharmaceutical solvent use. Regular travel from San Diego to Northern California will be required. Infrequent travel to other parts of North and South America will occur. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Environmental Health and safety or related field preferred, along with 8+ years relevant experience.
