The ideal candidate will be asked to oversee the General Liability/Workers Compensation process including daily guest satisfaction, claims and litigation management and will be responsible for the oversight and development of several levels of professional and para-professional staff. BS required, MS preferred. 10+ years experience in the field of Safety, Environmental, Risk Management or Health Services desired, 5+ in safety focused job, 7+ in EHS leadership position.

The Brahma Group is looking for an EHS Director. The ideal candidate will be asked to provide the knowledge and skills required to develop and promote a positive environmental, health and safety culture for the Company. The Director will be responsible for the Company EH&S program and endeavoring to ensure that all appropriate safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted for a particular project or program. S/he will help plan, implement, monitor, and review the protective and preventative measures at our Company and works to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a first-class safety program that reflects the Company's uncompromising commitment to safe work practices and for insuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The qualified candidate must have experience with heavy industrial construction. A Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, Safety or related field is required, along with 10+ years' experience in safety management of construction environments. OSHA 500 CSP and CIH preferred.

The Corporate Health and Safety Manager develops, teaches and implements systems and programs that continuously improve health and safety performance, and ensures operations are in compliance with applicable regulations and the company's health and safety systems and strategies. This position is accountable, along with Operations leadership, for implementing the company's EHS Management System, eliminating or reducing regulatory violations, and leading/authoring the development of health and safety standards. The Health, Safety, Environmental, and Training (HSET) Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the occupational health, safety, environmental, and training programs to ensure operational excellence throughout the Company. This position manages the HSET Department and department personnel to develop policies and procedures for maintaining a safe work environment for Company operations. This position reports directly to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You will be asked to plan, implement, and maintain HSET programs, policies, and procedures in coordination with department personnel and formulate and communicate safety objectives to all field operations. A Bachelor's degree in HSE, Industrial Safety/Hygiene, Environmental, Construction Management, or related safety field is required (MS preferred) along with 7-10 years of HSE experience in the industrial construction industry. 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred along with CSP, CIH, CHMM etc.. 50% travel.
