2012 Injury and Illness Rate Declines, Continuing Decade Trend
Private industry's incidence rate of nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses declined from 3.5 cases per 100 full-time workers in 2011 to 3.4 cases in 2012, according to estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering or a related field required, An advanced degree in an area that supports EH&S management preferred. 10-15 years of safety & health experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment (15+ preferred). CIH, CSP preferred.
