Johnson & Johnson is looking for an EHS Manager. The Manager Safety Data Sheet & GHS will provide leadership for the J&J Global Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Program and lead compliance with the Global Harmonized System (GHS) regulations worldwide. S/he will develop a strategy to build and streamline our SDS processes across the enterprise and ensure a strong data maintenance process related to the SDS/labeling program is in place. S/he will also coordinate the SDS authoring program and GHS compliance for the pharmaceutical business of J&J (Janssen), and work very closely with the SDS coordinators in Consumer and Medical Devices (MDD). The Manager Safety Data Sheet & GHS will work closely with key Business Partners like R&D and Supply Chain to ensure pro-active, lean and compliant processes are in place. The position will also work very closely with internal and external people that are expert in toxicology, eco-toxicology, transportation, labeling, IT, industrial hygiene, process safety and EHS&S, primarily in Janssen, but in other business units as well. University/Bachelor's degree or equivalent, (EHS/engineering preferred). 8-10 years of relevant experience, environmental engineering / product stewardship preferred. English required, Dutch/German/French preferred.

W. R. Grace & Co. is seeking an experienced EHSS Supervisor for its specialty catalyst manufacturing site in Norco, LA. The EHSS Supervisor will develop and implement site-specific objectives, targets, programs and activities to achieve the site's EHSS policy goals. The position supervises and continuously drives excellence in core EHSS management systems and processes and facilitates integration into the company's overall business operations for compliance assurance, productivity, and growth. The EHSS Supervisor will assist site leadership with implementation of Global EHS initiatives including but not limited to companywide procedures, Lead with Safety and Management of Change. Key responsibilities of the EHSS Supervisor are provide leadership and direction to the site management and employees on EHSS matters while supporting implementation of the company's EHS Policy and Global EHS Management System and ensure that the site EHSS Policies are effectively implemented and kept current to meet corporate expectations. Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Health & Safety, or Life Sciences is required, Minimum of 4 years experience in EHSS management in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical or specialty chemical required. Current training in RCRA Hazardous Waste Management, DOT hazardous materials shipping, and Radiation Safety preferred.

Packaging Corporation of America is currently searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Regional Manager-West to provide focused leadership, mentoring, program management, and expert technical assistance to facility based health and safety personnel and Regional EHS Managers. The goal is to drive an employee safety cultural attitude of zero accidents, reduce business risks, protect fixed assets, and reduce Workers' Compensation costs. The ideal candidate will [rovide technical assistance regarding permitting requirements at assigned Corrugated Products Facilities and serve as a mentor to facility-based EH&S coordinators and contacts. S/he will also develop and administer key elements of the environmental safety and Health Management program for PCA to insure compliance with regulatory requirements and PCA policies and represent PCA in activities relating to safety and environmental regulatory agencies (i.e., Federal and State EPA/OSHA). This position will be responsible for coordinating all ergonomic initiatives and solutions in the corrugated plants to reduce the number of injuries and illnesses. Basic Qualifications include 10 years' work experience managing environmental and occupational safety and health issues within a manufacturing environment. Advanced degree in Occupational Safety & Health is desirable but does not replace requirement for practical experience Prefer bachelor's degree in industrial safety, hygiene, public health, engineering, or life sciences. Additional Certificate/License: Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.

The position has direct and indirect EHS responsibility for facilities regulated under the Mine Safety Health & Administration, as well as, Environmental Protection Agency, and other local environmental regulations. The position will be responsible for leading 5 EHS professionals to assist with carrying out the mission of the position. 10 -15 years experience in EHS field oversight, incident investigation, and multi-site manufacturing sites is required, (5 -10 years experience in the Mining Industry preferred). Bachelor's degree in appropriate Engineering discipline (such as Chemical/Environmental/Safety engineering or related area) or equivalent education and experience. Travel at least 25% of the time.
