The incumbent should possess an engineering/science undergraduate degree with a concentration in environmental, health and safety or related field.

UTC Building & Industrial Systems (owner of Carrier Corp.) is the world's largest provider of building technologies. Their Residential & Commercial Systems division is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety ('EH&S') Manager to oversee and direct all aspects of the environmental health and safety program, including program development, safety management, audits, risk assessment, corporate and legal compliance, training and the indirect supervision of EH&S professionals at multiple locations. The scope of this assignment will include all RCS operations, engineering design centers and field locations. This position will offer technical support and guidance to align RCS processes with UTC strategy. The successful candidate will need to create a strategic direction for projects and programs to align RCS EH&S disciplines at the highest levels. This position is expected to contribute to and advance the level of knowledge within the EH&S function. The ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering with 10 plus years experience in a related discipline, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 7 plus years experience in a related discipline. Ten plus years EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment is desired, along with proven working knowledge and understanding of OSHA & EPA Regulations in addition to experience with workers compensation law. CSP preferred. 35% travel.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervise and develop corporate safety, health, and environmental protection function. S/he will provide leadership, direction, and support to TREVIICOS' overall environmental, health and safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations. S/he will also provide support and direction to Field Operation and monitor and manage overall safety performance. Required qualifications are a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management, or related and a minimum of 6 years' experience in the safety field. Minimum 4 years' experience in safety management in heavy construction. CSP required.
