The ideal candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge, understanding and application of environment, health and safety and workers' compensation laws and regulations and translates them into actionable processes, programs and practices and drives the understanding and implementation of the Cardinal Health EH&S management system. S/he will apply advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects to recommend new practices, processes, metrics, or models. A B.S. degree in technical discipline (occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering or equivalent) is required, Professional certification in safety (CSP) or industrial hygiene (CIH) preferred. A minimum of 8 years direct EH&S experience managing proven EH&S programs and solutions in a multi-facility environment is required.
