Huber Engineered Woods LLC (HEW), supplier of engineered materials is currently seeking a Process Safety Engineer. The job will report to the HEW Director, Environmental, Health & Safety and Sustainability in Commerce, Georgia located about 25 minutes from Athens Georgia. The Process Safety Engineer is a key member of the HEW Environmental, Health & Safety and Sustainability Department. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and leadership in the execution of projects to mitigate process safety risks and will work collaboratively with HEW plant personnel and Engineering to indentify and assess Process Safety risks across HEW plants. S/he will also identify sector priorities to develop and execute capital projects and deploy risk mitigation procedures. Requirements include a BS Degree in Engineering Discipline and familiarity with Process Safety Management, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119, and familiarity with the following: Process Hazard Analysis, Risk Management Process, Management of Change, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. Minimum 10+ years progressive relevant industry experience working with fire protection and air handling systems, mitigation of significant hazards, and continuous improvement of processes including multi site responsibility.
Oldcastle Precast; Orlando, Jacksonville or Cape Coral, Florida
Oldcastle Precast is the leading manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete and plastic products in the United States. They are looking for an EHS Manager. This position involves 50%-60% travel throughout Florida. The Area EH&S Manager will be responsible for the occupational health, safety and loss control management of our plant facilities based in Florida, in alignment with the Oldcastle Precast National Platform for Environmental, Health and Safety management. This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure safety and health work standards and methodologies are communicated and targeted goals are achieved through individual as well as team based objectives and strategies. The Area EH&S Manager will also work with the Regional Market Area Management Team to ensure implementation and continuous improvement of safety and health processes and systems consistent with Oldcastle policies and performance standards as well as compliance with applicable regulations. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 5 years in the construction materials industry. Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and CFR 1926 regulations preferred.

Univar is a leading global chemical distributor and provider of innovative value-added services with the #1 market position in North America and the #2 market position in Europe. They are looking for an EHS Director. In this role you will supervise 8 field based personnel. During a time of transition in the compliance program at Univar, this position requires at the outset focus on developing clear policies, standards, training and processes while managing personnel in charge of day to day environmental and product compliance. You will be further tasked with establishing the strategic direction for Univar's environmental program by designing and implementing a standardized Environmental Management System. Develop and implement training programs for regional environmental personnel and leading cross functional team to rebuild and implement internal environmental auditing program. Serve as functional lead in developing and implementing environmental and product compliance aspects of audit. Lead cross functional team in developing audit finding closure plan. Requires 10+ years of practical experience with environmental compliance, preferably with 3+ years of experience within the chemical, pharmaceutical or related industry along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Law or related field preferred, Master's degree preferred (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with OSHA, FDA, Homeland Security and ATF regulations is a plus. Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
