OSHA: Transgender Employees' Bathroom Choice is a Health and Safety Issue

The ideal candidate will be asked to manage and coordinate environmental programs (e.g. waste management, energy and water conservation, greenhouse gas emissions, integrated pest management, environmental purchasing, wildlife, messaging and communications) related to company environmental policy in order to reduce impacts. S/he will also maintain environmental compliance with all applicable policies, legal, and contractual requirements such as ISO 14001, NEPA, NHPA, OSHA, Directors Orders 12 and 28, National Park Service 1998 Concessions Management Act, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and others. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience in the environmental management field is required along with two to five years of environmental management and/or environmental education experience. One year of supervisory experience required.

SABIC is looking for a Senior Engineer/Site Safety Leader. The ideal candidate will have overall responsibilities for managing the Safety and Industrial Hygiene programs of our 450+ employee site while working closely with a dynamic EHS&S team. BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering or Chemistry is required along with 5+ years' meat industry experience and/or environmental management. Strong math skills; ability to work with a broad spectrum of people; strengths in the following environmental program areas: potable water systems and chemistry, greenhouse gases, air emissions permitting, inventories, and control systems, Form R reporting.

The Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager will be responsible for the development, communication, implementation, and monitoring of safety and environmental programs to protect the organization's most important assets: its people, its equipment and facility, its brands and ultimately its reputation. This position is responsible for the Somerset and Newark, NJ Facilities, and will assist on an ad hoc basis with other Rust-Oleum facilities located in the U.S. The Somerset and Newark facilities produce solvent and water based coatings for consumer and industrial customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System for both the Somerset and Newark plants, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as corporate mandated policies and procedures in EHS. S/he will also maintain the facility EHS compliance records and coordinate EHS related activities with the plant manager. Track and report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives to Plant Manager. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. EHS-related certification(s) preferred. Knowledge of Federal and State regulations including air programs, hazardous waste management, hazardous material management, PSM, TCPA, NPDES, Storm Water Discharge, SPCC, OSHA general industry, DOT requirements. 5+ years of environmental health and safety experience preferred.
