GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) is a British multinational pharmaceutical company. It was the world's sixth-largest pharmaceutical company in 2014. They are looking for a Safety Engineer. The Safety Engineer's role is to develop and implement the process safety engineering management program our Biopharm manufacturing site in Upper Merion site. This includes hazard identification, risk assessments, mitigation planning and project implementation, development of procedures, compliance auditing, and compliance reporting. Duties include but are not limited to coordinating and facilitating deployment of the Process Safety Management program to achieve improved identification, assessment, and management of process safety hazards and leading and managing the completion of process hazard identification and risk assessments (PHIRA) for the facility (e.g. HAZOP, FMEA, TRA). Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required along with 5 years' experience in safety engineering, process safety and risk management, preferably in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. Experience related to pressurized systems, hazardous materials, automated equipment and powder handling hazards is preferred. CSP/PE required.

Safway Services, LLC has been a leader in scaffolding services and access solutions in North America since 1936 with more than 85 branch locations. They are looking for a Regional EHS Manager who will work under the supervision of the Director of EHS - North to manage and develop Branch / Multi-Branch EHS Managers within the Carolinas Region. Overall duties will include providing safety management expertise to others to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws / regulations and Company policies / procedures. Essential duties include interviewing, hiring, training, and managing each safety manager within assigned safety region, observing Branch/Multi-Branch Safety Managers conducting training classes, safety meetings, and field observations and providing ongoing performance monitoring and mentoring including quarterly review of goals and job shadowing. Assist with resolving issues that he/she may encounter. You will also work with Branch/Multi-Branch Safety Managers and/or Branch Managers to locate and evaluate medical providers and work with medical providers and the Company's Risk Management Department to help ensure the procedural requirements of the Company's return to work program are followed. Above average knowledge of and experience with the OSHA, DOT, MSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulatory requirements required. Must be knowledgeable in OSHA's recordkeeping requirements. Minimum of 10 years' experience in the safety industry with a minimum of 5 years safety management in the construction industry with an emphasis on the scaffolding segment.

They are looking for an EHS Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for EHS compliance across Bimeda North American operations and report directly to Group Projects Manager. S/he will be asked to communication of EHS performance with business units, senior managers & executive management as appropriate and provide support and direction to all North American operations for Environmental, Health and Safety issues. S/he will also lead coordinator for all EHS activities across the geographic remit and setup local site EHS committees that will support and promote EHS initiatives and act as first responders to all EHS related issues - First Aid, ERT etc. This position requires a degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry or a BA in Industrial Health or equivalent along with advanced training in handling of dangerous goods is preferred. 5-10 years' experience as a Safety Manager in a pharmaceutical or similar environment with a proven track record of delivering legislative compliance and best practice policies and programmes. Direct Experience with EHS regulatory agencies is preferred. CSP / CRSP / CHSC designation preferred.

S/he will provide the overall managerial, technical, financial and operational direction for our facilities in alignment with the zone goals and objectives. Principal accountabilities include developing the Groups EHS&S policy, strategy and objectives across the Zone and leading the development, communication and execution of a comprehensive L'Oreal Americas's long-term sustainability vision, mission and operating principles, and lead the development of a high-level strategy to support them. You will also collaborate with the company's internal groups (for example Plant Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Packaging) to develop a comprehensive EHS and Sustainability plan and build sustainability principles into short and long-range business planning, capital planning and operations planning. Undergraduate Engineering Degree; Safety management, industrial hygiene, or Sustainability required. MBA a plus. 10+ years progressive EHS & Sustainability responsibility in a fast-paced consumer products company, including overall management experience requires.
