This is an entry level technical position on IBM's Corporate Environmental Affairs (CEA) staff, reporting to Manager, Environmental Programs and Policy. You will gain a thorough familiarity with IBM's Global Environmental Management System and all aspects of environmental affairs at IBM. This will include the application of environmental laws, regulations, and standards to IBM's operations, products and services, evaluation of suppliers responsible for hazardous waste and end-of-life product disposal, and external environmental reporting. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing environmental laws and regulations in the U.S. and Canada and helping to assess their potential impact upon IBM. You will work with other subject matter experts on the corporate staff and within IBM business units to effectively communicate and advocate IBM positions while also helping IBM business units develop compliance processes. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science is required. Master's Degree in Engineering or Science or an MBA Degree Is preferred.

Universal Orlando is looking for an EHS Manager. The ideal candidate will be asked to strategize, develop, and direct assigned elements of the of the EHS management system as well as providing subject matter technical support Environmental, Health and Safety processes for all UPR owned and operated sites (both US and international) in accordance with regulation and international consensus standards. S/he will also incorporate all audit and risk assessment protocols, results and methods against permits, programs, procedures and corporate standards into Hazard management programs to assure sustained compliance with regulation and EHS MODEL and act as subject matter expert for EHS Operation Teams regarding assigned: permits, written Hazard Management Programs, regulatory training content and interpretations, policy, MODEL compliance, etc. You will understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities. Bachelor's degree is required - BS/BA in Safety, Occupational Heath, and/or Environmental Discipline or otherwise related field preferred. 5 to 7 years' experience required; Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, and or Environmental Safety experience in industry or consulting. Experience should include EHS management system implementation, risk assessment, supervision, planning, scheduling, budgeting, project report preparation and executive communications. You must also possess or have the education and experience to meet testing criteria for a CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE or other equivalent internationally recognized certification within the EHS discipline.

This position will provide on-site support to effectively implement EHS processes and programs as defined by the North America converting EHS Manager and Container the Americas (CTA) Director of Manufacturing. The position will also align with CTA regional management to ensure that business needs are aligned with EHS program implementation. This individual will need to be able to learn and adjust quickly, be action oriented, be responsive to facility needs and be able to work independently. The individual will also work directly with area EHS/Business leads. This person must also embody IP's commitment to four key accountabilities: Elimination of LIFE incidents, and pursuing an accident free workplace; regardless of where we operate, Demanding 100 percent compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, Raising performance standards by advancing the ideals of sustainability, Developing site EHS coordinators with appropriate competencies and skill sets needed to effectively lead EHS programs at the facility. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 5 years' experience in the forest products industry or an industry with a similar risk profile. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or, science, engineering is required, Master's degree in Occupational Health or Environmental related discipline preferred.

The person in this role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of policies and procedures which mitigate and prevent workplace hazards, and to ensure materials and waste are managed according to government and local regulations and minimize potential impact to the environment. The ideal candidate will develop and implement site-specific EHS programs and processes including emergency preparedness and fire protection, safety risk assessments and safe working procedures for non-office activities, hazardous waste management, bio-waste management, spill management, EHS training, ergonomics, and contractor safety. S/he also develops and implements a corporate-wide industrial hygiene program to manage risks of exposure to physical, chemical and biological hazards. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety & Health, or similar field is required. CSP, CIH desirable. 7+ years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety field along with 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, other) is required.
