The incumbent is successful through strong leadership, vision, and effective management and ensure these goals in a professional atmosphere that enhances Company economic viability. You will be asked to build proactive safety culture at plant and create environment where employees and supervision are engaged in working safely. Environmental Superintendent

CF Industries Holdings Inc. is a North American manufacturer and distributor of agricultural fertilizers, based in Deerfield, Illinois. It was founded in 1946 as the Central Farmers Fertilizer Company. They are looking for an EHS Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and permits. The Environmental Superintendent will review required reports to regulatory agencies, provide oversight to those that track daily environmental compliance, and provide technical support to other departments within the facility. This position will report to the Manager, EHS and will work closely with direct reports and site leaders to develop and improve environmental procedures, standard work and data collection methods. S/he will also provide technical oversight, guidance and communications on issues involving compliance with and interpretation of local, state and where applicable, federal environmental regulations and identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop and execute action plans to improve environmental programs and processes. A Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or similar degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

PSM Superintendent

It was founded in 1946 as the Central Farmers Fertilizer Company. They are looking for an PSM Superintendent. The PSM Superintendent leads, oversees and coordinates all program activities associated with Process Safety at the Port Neal Complex. S/he ensures implementation of corporate process safety standards and guidance, compliance with OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) Standard and EPA's Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations. This position will have multiple direct reports. This position will be the process safety site leader that is consulted and creates a culture of process safety excellence and will ensure implementation of corporate process safety standards and guidance, as well as ensures compliance with PSM and RMP regulations. You will work with key site leaders to regularly improve site process safety policies and procedures that incorporate corporate standards, guidance and regulatory requirements and provide advice and guidance on all process safety management elements including, but not limited to MOC, PSSR, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Emergency Response, contractor training and operations recertification training. An engineering Degree required, preferably in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years PSM experience in a chemical environment handling OSHA PSM covered processes with thorough knowledge of compliance requirements.

By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates. The Senior Manager, Safety must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. The Senior Manager, Safety will be responsible to lead a team of Safety Managers in their region. This individual must create and execute leadership development plans for their Safety Managers and Safety Associates on their team. 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations is required along with experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. BS/BA in safety, environmental, ergonomics or a related field required. Certified Safety Professional preferred, MA preferred.

Senior Manager, Occupational Health & Safety

The Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Director is responsible for implementation and management of HSE systems, processes, policies and tools for assigned division. S/he will be responsible for driving ownership, responsibility and accountability for divisional HSE function while strategically planning and aligning activities across work crews. You will work in tandem with senior divisional leadership, corporate VP of HSE, and safety coordinators to recommend and implement corporate and divisional safety policy, make leadership aware of safety gaps and areas of concern with recommendations for corrective action, engages in the investigation of personal injury, near miss, first aid, general liability, auto, and environmental incidents ensuring that reporting and analysis is timely, accurate, and within company protocol. You will also trend and measure the HSE leading and lagging indicators, manage and support HSE to continuously drive a zero incident workplace. Bachelor's Degree in Health Safety Environmental filed is required. Must have 10+ years of HSE professional experience in the construction industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Proficient knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA and other applicable government agencies required.
