Lockheed Martin and Duke Energy Sign 17-Year Renewable Energy Pact
Lockheed Martin has entered into a 17-year power purchase agreement for solar-generated electricity produced by Duke Energy Renewables. Account Manager - Health, Safety & Environment

They are currently seeking a Manager, Health, Safety, Environment, (HSE) for a client account based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position will support a large national/international corporate account and has the opportunity to grow professionally and advance within ISS. The position will work with account management to ensure strategic initiatives are executed in order to meet HSE performance goals. In addition, the position is accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining effective processes. The position reports to the HSE Corporate Group for Americas and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Key responsibilities include applying HSE experience to develop, implement and manage programs. The position will develop HSE Systems and best practices to drive and sustain the ISS way. Bachelor of Science degree is required along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing and implementing HSE programs. A specialization in Occupational Safety or Health, Safety Engineering, Safety Science, and Environmental Health is preferred.

HSE Director

They are looking for an EHS Director. The Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Director is responsible for implementation and management of HSE systems, processes, policies and tools for assigned division. S/he will be responsible for driving ownership, responsibility and accountability for divisional HSE function while strategically planning and aligning activities across work crews. S/he will work in tandem with senior divisional leadership, corporate VP of HSE, and safety coordinators to recommend and implement corporate and divisional safety policy, make leadership aware of safety gaps and areas of concern with recommendations for corrective action, engages in the investigation of personal injury, near miss, first aid, general liability, auto, and environmental incidents ensuring that reporting and analysis is timely, accurate, and within company protocol. You will also trend and measure the HSE leading and lagging indicators. Manages and supports HSE to continuously drive a zero incident workplace. Bachelor's Degree in Health Safety Environmental filed required along with 10+ years of HSE professional experience in the construction industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Must have working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Proficient knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA and other applicable government agencies required.

They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Multi-Branch EHS Manager will work in the Mid-Atlantic Region, under the supervision of the Regional EHS Manager to provide expertise in the Safety, Health, and Environmental areas in an effort to prevent and mitigate employee injuries and illnesses. S/he will assist branch and field management to promote effective safety programs at their assigned branch(es) and job sites within their region. S/he will also ensure the Company remains in compliance with governmental regulations such as OSHA, DOT, MSHA, EPA, and NFPA. Other essential duties include the ability to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices; the capability to develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs, implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs; and measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard controls and hazard control programs. Experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on the scaffolding segment is required. Advance knowledge and understanding of current construction and general industry safety regulations and the ability to analyze and interpret this data for the safety of employees, job sites, and the branch is preferred. Must be an active member of at least one safety management trade organization.
