Ecology and Environment is a fully integrated environmental consulting firm committed to supporting sustainable development through responsible environmental stewardship. They are seeking an experienced EHS Manager at E&E's corporate headquarters in Buffalo, NY. A successful candidate will be responsible for corporate EHS program administration across the company's multiple regional locations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other occupational health and safety regulations, and providing pragmatic direction to address current and future EHS challenges in a rapidly-changing and complex business environment. This role is expected to grow to assume overall responsibility for the EHS function within the E & E family of companies. You will be asked to provide leadership for the administration of E&E's Corporate Health and Safety Program ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of employees and maintain corporate compliance with OSHA and other applicable EHS regulatory requirements. A Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety Management, Industrial or Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or related discipline is required along with 10+ years corporate or regional EHS management experience. A Master's degree and CIH certification a plus, experience in environmental consulting is a plus.

Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford (Stanford Children's Health); Palo Alto, California
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is the heart and soul of Stanford Children's Health. Nationally ranked and internationally recognized, their 311-bed hospital is devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics. They are looking for an EHS Manager. This person will be responsible for the planning, administration and management of safety, health and life safety programs throughout the hospital and all LPCH of-site facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and standards as well as applicable standards set forth by The Joint Commission. The major functions of this position are: managing the team responsible for ensuring specific, daily compliance with regulations, performing regular performance assessments, managing regulatory compliance audits, ensure effective recordkeeping, coordinate leadership reporting, and act in the role of LPCH Hospital Safety Officer. A Bachelor's degree in a work-related field is required along with five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including one (1) year in the specialty area to which assigned. Knowledge of Federal, State, Local Agency Standards, OSHA, Toxic Waste Disposal Requirements and Environmental Health & Safety Standards a must.

My services have been retained to recruit a Director of EH&S for one of my clients based in Atlanta. This is the top EHS position within the company. The successful candidate will have the chance to build and run an entire EHS program. Must have experience developing & implementing EHS policy and procedure in a multi plant setting and the ability to evaluate programs and develop a long range strategy for improving overall EHS program. BS Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related Sciences is required along with a minimum 10 years of experience. Must have industry experience and experience developing and implementing EHS policy and procedure in a multi plant setting. Ability to work with Plant Managers and Business Unit Leadership a plus.
