HSE Manager - North America Zone

Safran S.A. is a French multinational aircraft engine, rocket engine, aerospace-component, defense, and security company. Its headquarters are located in Paris. The company is a component of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental management activities at the Sarasota location and provides leadership and direction for all North American facilities, and will be asked to remotely manage a team of HSE professionals within the North American division. You will act as Subject Matter Expert for OSHA and EPA regulations and prepare site and division monthly and quarterly metrics and presents to division leadership team, and manage and maintain the HSE Management System. This includes leading other managers that have responsibility for various HSE programs within the Sarasota site. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required along with a minimum 5 years of HSE experience. ITAR use requires U.S. citizenship for the position. MA preferred.

EH&S Corporate Manager

Lightower Fiber Networks is a telecommunications service provider with over 900 employees and facilities in 17 states in the eastern half of the United States. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with senior management and outside advisors to develop, implement and administer a comprehensive health and safety program for the company to ensure employee safety and agency compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations for all employees, contractors, facilities and operations. The Manager of Corporate Safety is responsible for inspecting facilities, observing operations and activities, investigating complaints and ensuring that the company, its contractors and employees are in compliance with OSHA regulations, applicable building codes and other related federal, state and local guidelines. A Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years of direct professional experience in developing and/or administering a large-scale industrial health and safety program is required. Moderate travel.

They are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team in the position of Global Sustainability Manager. The Global Sustainability Manager will lead the development and execution of the implementation of Bemis’s supply chain, brand (corporate), and product sustainability initiatives, and ensure Bemis’s sustainability efforts enhance business performance and support our long-term interests. The ideal candidate will establish the company’s long-term sustainability vision, mission, and operating principles, and develop a high-level strategy to support it, collaborate across departments to develop a cross-functionally coordinated sustainability plan and build sustainability principles into short- and long-range business planning, capital planning, and operations planning. BA/BS degree or equivalent ideally in Environmental Management or Environmental Economic is required along with 5+ years of corporate responsibility/ sustainability experience including leadership, strategic risk management, training, monitoring, program management in a manufacturing, apparel, or textile industry. Sharepoint proficiency a plus. A history with social and environmental responsibility in the supply chain is a plus. 25% travel.
