Must have a college or university degree in related field or the equivalent work experience. MBA/MA preferred with 10+ years’ experience preferred. 15+ years relevant experience preferably in the electric and gas utility industry preferred. Experience in OSHA regulation interpretation a plus.

This position will drive Berry’s Environmental, Health and Safety programs providing strategic direction and leadership. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to - demonstrating expertise in connecting EH&S initiatives to overall Berry strategy and organization effectiveness utilizing effective change management techniques, ensuring compliance with all EH&S current and developing country and location regulations, codes and key constraints and working with Corporate EH&S Team to develop and implement standardized programs to maintain full compliance with EH&S regulations and standards to meet/exceed metrics. A Bachelor of Science in Occupation Safety and/or Environmental or related field is required along with 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles involving international employees and locations desired but not required.

Corporate EH&S Manager

They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Corporate EH&S (Environmental, Health and Safety) Manager is responsible to lead the development and implementation of the Company’s Environmental, Health and Safety including Sustainability efforts and is the top environmental, safety and industrial health content expert within the Company. S/he will be asked to lead, create and implement all elements of an EH&S and Sustainability program and culture, including the implementation and maintenance of NJFC EH&S management systems and compliance programs. S/he will also be tasked with ensuring programs and protocols to ensure EH&S policies and procedures are updated, implemented and followed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements enabling continuous improvement. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering or related field is required along with a minimum of 10 years occupational safety, environmental and sustainability experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with seasonal workforce desirable. 5 years demonstrated supervisory and management experience. CSP/AB 32 a plus. 50% travel.
