P&G Pledges Zero Manufacturing Waste by 2020
Procter & Gamble says it will eliminate all manufacturing waste from its global network of more than 100 production sites by 2020. The company says 56% of its production sites globally send zero manufacturing waste to landfill. Over the next four years P&G will have to eliminate or reuse about 650,000 metric tons of waste to achieve its zero waste goal. Read more...

Key skill sets required include managing systems, scheduling, training, developing (and improving) procedures, influencing behavior, business partnering, strong written and verbal communications, project management, and managing numbers and data. A Bachelor's Degree in related field (occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science or engineering or equivalent) preferred along with a minimum of 4 years' experience and a working knowledge of safety, environmental, and security regulations and laws (FDA, EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations) is preferred.
