Senior Specialist Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

S/he will be responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures and provide EHS support on day to day activities (e.g. training, safety, ergonomics) for assigned locations. The focus of this position is Health and Safety. This position will work with EHS Manager to ensure that health and safety activities are completed on time. It will support all departments from an EHS perspective. A BA/BS in Environmental Health and Safety or Related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred. Professional EHS certification is highly desirable. Minimum 5-7 years Environmental Health and Safety or Related experience is required. 25% travel.

The largest engine manufacturing facility for the company, the plant is certified to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001 and U.S Department of Energy’s Superior Energy Program (SEP). Responsibilities will include maintaining regulatory compliance and interacting with regulatory agencies, leading HSE improvement efforts through the Health, Safety and Environmental and Energy Management System (HSEEnMS), conducting Management Reviews with site and BU leadership, leading pollution prevention, resource reduction and health and safety management and control efforts, supervision of HSE Supervisors and Technicians, training employees, setting and achieving HSE objectives and targets, as well as driving HSEEnMS functional excellence. Senior Director Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety

Health & Safety or Environment/Sustainability Consultant

UL is searching for a consultant to join our EHS & Sustainability (EHSS) Advisory Services Team. The consultant will be responsible for helping to grow our sustainability consulting practice by working across our commercial and Global Account Management teams to identify prospects and land projects, then manage the delivery of those projects to assist the organization in achieving its strategic Environmental, Health, & Safety goals. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in health and safety or sustainability and environmental framework consulting to large organizations, particularly global organizations with large footprints. Our ideal candidate will have a network of contacts, an impressive portfolio of projects, strategic thought leadership in the sustainability and environmental reporting arena, and the ability to deliver excellent projects and customer service.  This position is located anywhere within the US or UK, preferably in Chicago, Nashville, or Cambridge, UK. A University degree in Health & Safety / Environment or Sustainability related fields is required with a PhD preferred. A minimum 3 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment including leading business development activities.

Director - EHS & Risk Management

The Director-EHS & Risk Management will lead global TMLC in the development and execution of a comprehensive environmental, health, safety, security and risk management plan. The Director will help TMLC develop a world class safety and risk management system by cultivating a Zero Injury and Risk Savvy culture. Key responsibilities include knowing the business; share in responsibility for improving and sustaining business results by ensuring strategies are translated into concrete actions and tangible results, champion culture by aligning people with the business mission, vision and values; EHS and employee relations champion, lead strategic planning and execution of TMLC's global environmental, health, safety and security plan, driving continuous improvement and maintaining regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, other) and partner with leadership to ensure the health, safety and security of all TMLC associates and contractors; cultivate a Zero Injury Culture and risk savvy organization. Director, Sustainability (EHS)

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), this role will be responsible to identify, develop and drive execution of enterprise-wide, global sustainability strategy that integrates improving the environment and minimizing harmful effects. In alignment with Eaton's vision and corporate goals, the strategy will take an active focus on how Eaton creates products and solutions, operates its manufacturing and core functional areas, makes decisions across all aspects of the company's business processes. This role's impact will be at all levels of the organization across 4 primary pillars: (i) Strategy, Policy and Governance, (ii) Commercial Front End, (iii) Cultural Change, and (iv) Sustainability Footprint. This role will drive Sustainability's impact on financial planning, short and long term strategy, organizational capability, and community outreach and involvement. A Bachelor's Degree with a preferred focus on EHS or engineering is required (Master's Degree from an accredited institution preferred). Industrial operations experience with a business unit and/or corporate group and Professional EHS-related certification a plus.
