The ideal candidate will lead the overall strategy and execution for health, safety and environmental within the organization and lead the development and execution of health, safety and environmental strategy and functional excellence for the Business Unit or Region/ABO. S/he will also lead the organization of health, safety and environmental professionals to develop and deploy excellence in this discipline for Cummins global operations and oversee the deployment of health, safety and environmental management systems worldwide and establish and implement short and long term organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness. Should have experience with EMS, HAZWOPER, 5-why, OHS. A college, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field required with a Master's Degree preferred.

Director of Environmental Services

Lehigh Hanson is one of the largest construction materials companies in North America with more than 550 active operations in the U.S. and Canada. Our core activities include the production and distribution of cement and aggregates, the two essential raw materials in concrete. Lehigh Hanson companies also produce ready-mixed concrete, asphalt and other concrete products. They are looking for an EHS Director. You will become a part of a dynamic ESH team with an industry leader. The Director of Environmental Services is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of Three Rivers Management, Inc. (TRMI), a Lehigh Hanson subsidiary. In managing TRMI, it is the responsibility of this position to assure legacy environmental liabilities are managed with integrity, including compliance with all laws, while minimizing the impact on Lehigh Hanson’s value and reputation. You will be responsible for the oversight of and strategy development of environmental remediation programs for legacy environmental sites. Responsible for site investigation; remedy design; remediation; permitting; operations, maintenance and monitoring; compliance; and cost-allocation and buyout negotiation and you will manage staff including four technical managers and administrative staff; responsible for target setting and performance measurement for all staff. A Bachelor’s degree is required (with Master’s degree preferred) along with a minimum 7-10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In depth knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA and PRP processes and regulations a must. Prior managerial role in union/non-union environment a must.

Global EHS Director

The incumbent will directly and indirectly manage a team of EHS professionals and will be tasked with providing leadership across the business and overseeing organizational compliance with local, state and federal EH&S regulations. Providing EHS support to all domestic and international locations, the Global EHS Director will be required to travel 50% of the time. A Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety Sciences, or related technical field is required along with 10+ years’ progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment. CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred.
