It owns hundreds of subsidiaries, affiliates, branches, brands, and divisions worldwide and employs approximately 50,000 people. The company has dual headquarters located in Houston and in Dubai. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The HSE Manager works in collaboration with operations leadership and functional reports, plans, leads and organizes HSE activities within Sperry Manufacturing. Primary Responsibilities include monitoring Manufacturing HSE performance according to agreed standards, liaising with the Manufacturing leaders and Global Manufacturing HSE functional leads to ensure compliance with established standards, corporate expectations and HSE initiatives and leading the assessment of Manufacturing leading and lagging indicators and facilitates the development of strategies and tactics to drive break through levels of HSE performance. Completion of an undergraduate degree in an HSE related field, Science, Engineering or Business Management is required along with a minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in HSE Management. They are currently seeking a Manager, Environmental Health, Safety (EHS) for their Global Occupier Services (GOS) platform. This role will support a corporate account and will be based in Bethpage, New York. Reporting to the Account Director with a dotted Line GOS EHS Managing Director; the selected candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with opportunities to grow professionally. The Manager, Environmental Health, Safety (EHS) will partner with senior account leadership to ensure GOS EHS regulatory requirements, client compliance programs, policies and initiatives are fulfilled and integrated into C&W account operations. In addition, the role is accountable for collaborating with the client, developing, implementing and maintaining effective compliance based processes for the client. Bachelor of Science degree is required. Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health, or Environmental Health, Environmental Sciences or Management is preferred. Minimum of 10 years’ of experience in developing and implementing EHS programs is required. Candidates with Professional Certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.) are highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in environmental science, public policy, business administration, health administration or social sciences preferred; 10 years’ experience with a minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental purchasing and or sustainability leadership role in healthcare, manufacturing or consumer markets.
