The Global Client Executive (Northeast Region) is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large telecom, real estate, financial and institutional accounts located in the Northeast Region. Assigned to not more than five named customers, the Global Client Executive is responsible for achieving account retention goals and personal labor utilization objectives. The Global Client Executive represents the entire range of company products and services to named accounts, while leading the account planning cycle and ensuring assigned account/client needs and expectations are fully met. The Global Client Executive reports to the Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Primary responsibilities include establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, coordinating the involvement of ESIS personnel, including technical, business development and executive sponsor, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations and leading broad-based HSE consulting project teams for clients and also participates as a member of project teams. S/he will also meet assigned targets for profitable account retention revenue and strategic objectives for named accounts. Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in science or engineering related field is required along with a minimum of seven years of HSE consulting and three years of strategic HSE consulting sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.

Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

They are currently looking for an EHS Manager in the Northeast region. This position will report to the Director of Environmental Health & Safety. The role will provide safety and risk management leadership, teamwork, coordination, and expertise across divisional operations to help ensure sharing of best practices and/or preferred procedures. This person will help to ensure the company maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws/regulations and internal policies and procedures. Key objectives of the position are to: Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices; Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; Implement, administer, and advise others on hazard controls and related programs; Measure, audit, and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard controls and related processes. Four year college degree and/or equivalent related experience is required along with a minimum of eight years of senior level safety leadership experience in the wholesale distribution or construction industry. Preferred certifications include: Occupational Health & Safety technologist. 70% travel.

Associate Director, High Risk Work & Emergency Response

Merck & Company is an American pharmaceutical company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They are looking for an EHS Director. The Associate Director, High Risk Work/Emergency Response will provide expert technical leadership and consulting to global operations with a focus on identifying safety related hazards, assessing risks and assisting sites in implementing compliant technical solutions for high-risk work (HRW) (open flame/hot work, confined space, hazardous energy control, line breaking, machinery safety, electrical safety, work at heights, trenching and excavation). The ideal candidate will provide expert technical leadership and consulting to global operations with a focus on identifying fire/life safety and emergency response risks and assisting sites in implementing compliant technical solutions for fire/life safety and emergency response. S/he will provide support to HRW, fire/life safety and emergency response functional improvement activities (e.g. training, tools, work processes, auditing, metrics, internal programs and standards) and provide program leadership and technical support to capital projects, existing and R&D operations, incident investigations and support related trade group and advocacy activities. This position will require a significant amount of travel (domestic and international), estimated to be about 40%. Minimum of a B.S. degree in industrial safety, fire protection, loss prevention, chemical engineering or a related field is required along with a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience that includes at least 7 years of progressive EHS experience in pharmaceutical, biochemical, chemical, petrochemical or process related industry with direct responsibility for HRW, fire safety and emergency response program development and management. Certification or registration as a Professional Engineer, Certified Safety Professional or Certified Fire Protection Specialist preferred.
