The ideal candidate will provide guidance for the company on best safety practices and procedures, as well as sustainability initiatives globally and to develop, plan, coordinate and manage site safety and sustainability programs including the implementation of those programs to ensure the safety of physical environment, and to ensure compliance with applicable policies for international and domestic regulations. For sustainability, the position will develop local energy champions at each location, raise the awareness of our sustainability initiatives, and implement an energy reduction program and reporting. Other essential functions include planning, developing and implementing and managing health and safety in the workplace globally for SG, assisting in reducing employee risk by planning and executing safety strategies. Promote a behavioral safety environment and reporting/tracking on injury/illness statistics and safety program, using statistical methods and comparative data, keep management advised of company performance. Bachelors or Associates Degree in Applied Science in Occupational Safety & Health is required along with Seven years plus experience (preferred in Safety and Sustainability) is required. Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations required. Additional job specific training in OSHA regulations, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics a plus. CSP, ASP, CSMP, ASHM, CSHM.

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Regional Manager

Dayco has an exciting job opportunity for you to work as a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in the Tennessee Region (Arkansas, Mississippi area preferred locations). They are looking for someone to oversee our safety and environmental evaluations across multiple sites. The EHS Regional Manager position provides you with the opportunity to impact process across multiple facilities to ensure that safety and environmental guidelines are being met and followed. In this job, you will travel to different sites to evaluate the standards and report and investigate on EHS incidents. You will also be responsible for developing and implanting corrective and preventative actions related to the incidents. Your key responsibilities as a Regional EHS Manager will include: Managing site ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems, implementing corporate safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and permits, delegating tasks and objectives to the local teams, and walking the plant floor to conduct a job hazard analysis. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience along with 5+ years of related environmental and safety regulation experience is required. ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 strongly preferred. OHSA 30 -Hour, CSP, CEP preferred. 50% travel.

ESIS provides health, safety and environmental services to clients across the globe. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Global Client Executive (Northeast Region) is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large telecom, real estate, financial and institutional accounts located in the Northeast Region. Assigned to not more than five named customers, the Global Client Executive is responsible for achieving account retention goals and personal labor utilization objectives. The Global Client Executive represents the entire range of company products and services to named accounts, while leading the account planning cycle and ensuring assigned account/client needs and expectations are fully met. The Global Client Executive reports to the Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Primary Responsibilities are establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, coordinating the involvement of ESIS personnel, including technical, business development and executive sponsor, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations and leading broad-based HSE consulting project teams for clients and also participates as a member of project teams. A four year college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in science or engineering related field is required along with a minimum of seven years of HSE consulting and three years of strategic HSE consulting sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Proficient with multiple database software programs, MS Office software products, financial tools, and project management programs (Salesforce experience a plus). Requires comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of HSE responsibilities, regulations, procedures and business practices, including general broad knowledge of HSE best management practices.
