For much of the 20th century, the then-titled Johns-Manville Corporation was the global leader in the manufacture of asbestos-containing products, including asbestos pipe insulation, asbestos shingles, asbestos roofing materials and asbestos cement pipe. They are looking for an EHS Manager. As a Regional Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving the health and safety functions at multiple manufacturing plants. The Health and Safety Manager's high-level focus is to drive continuous and sustainable improvement in the IS division's culture regarding to safety. The position requires technical and people skills to ensure compliance and drive process improvements as it relates to health and safety programs. This position will be based in Richmond, Indiana. The additional facilities in the group are Innisfail, Alberta, Houston, Texas, Phenix City, Alabama. and Belgrade, Montana. Extensive travel (approximately 50% on average) is a requirement of this position. Relocation assistance is available for those who qualify under our relocation policy. A Bachelor's degree or 8 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree is required along with 8 years of progressive experience in health and safety in a manufacturing environment. VPP/CSP/SGE a plus. MA preferred.

Global Data Center Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

Developing, operating and managing the data center infrastructure and facilities the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability, flexibility and capital and operational cost efficiency in a safe working environment. ZFacebook is seeking an experienced, organized and outgoing individual to manage the Infrastructure Data Center Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team. The IDC EHS Manager will be responsible for oversight of the EHS global program for our Data Centers located in the U.S. and Europe, and for managing our program-level EHS staff. Comprehensive EHS technical expertise as well as excellent communication and program management skills are required for this position. This role requires extensive experience in Occupational Health and Safety technical standards and global compliance requirements, life safety, incident management and corrective actions, environmental compliance management, emergency action planning and response, and Data Center-related Risk Assessments from an operations standpoint. Familiarity with European regulations is also preferred. Some travel. A BS or MS in environmental, health, safety, scientific or engineering field is required along with 15+ years of EHS experience. This experience includes knowledge with EHS compliance and training, risk assessment (including job hazard analyses), compliance assurance, and incident management (incident response training, reporting, root cause analysis). Experience with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 a plus.

Vice President, Environmental & Regulatory
The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA); Long Island City, New York
The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) manages the design, construction and renovation of school facilities in New York City. They are looking for a VP of EHS. The Vice President, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer, and is responsible for directing SCA activities with respect to the review of construction plans for zoning and building code compliance, ongoing inspection of projects in construction and at completion, ensuring site safety, overseeing environmental policies and programs including testing, abatement and remediation of environmental hazards. The Vice President participates in decisions on strategic, sensitive and long range planning proposals. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Vice President participates in the development and implementation of policy and programs and provides leadership and direction of daily operations for the Facilities Inspection, Industrial and Environmental Hygiene and Safety divisions in the SCA. The ideal candidate will oversee and direct the performance of all environmental and regulatory compliance activities of the SCA in order to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance in all construction projects without encumbrances or obstacles. S/he explores and recommends actions to eliminate bottlenecks while maintaining quality standards. Makes recommendations for quality improvements based on review of staff analyses of field findings. A BA degree from an accredited college or university, and fourteen years of full time construction experience including experience in code compliance, inspections, safety, quality control / quality assurance or related fields or a satisfactory combination of education and experience. PE/RA preferred in NYS.
