You will work closely with senior leaders and other business partners to develop a communication program and deliverables that support the company’s ESG efforts while aligning with Advance’s Vision, Mission and overall communication objectivesand also provide communication support for select corporate function(s). A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline is required along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in communications field. The position is involved in machine safety to ensure that production is efficient and reliable systems are simple to operate. Responsibilities include development, implement, and ensure compliance in EHSSS, and developing and implementing required safety programs and supporting training including but not limited to Lock Out Tag Out, exposure control, Hazard communication, electrical safety, confined space, hazard assessment and PPE program. A Bachelor’s degree in any EHS technical sciences from an accredited school is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field or in a related manufacturing environment.

The Complex Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager provides expertise, leadership, and direction in all areas regarding environmental safety and health systems to multiple facilities. The Complex EHS Manager position has a strong focus on environmental and will report to the plant Site Manager. Responsibilities Include, ensuring that all facilities are incompliance with applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations and corporate policy, and to certify to this requirement, developing, implementing and maintaining effective systems, procedures, and training to achieve and maintain an incident-free, injury free, and healthy workplace. You will also integrate continual environmental, health and safety improvements and employee diligence into daily operations. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required along with 4-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with working with environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, and systems a must.

EHS Manager
ARC Technologies Inc., Amesbury, Massachusetts
ARC Technologies is the leading manufacturer of RF and EMI absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this position will lead, in concert with the management team, the plants’ safety, health and environmental policies and practices by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards; developing, documenting and enforcing policies, practices and procedures; and conducting studies and investigations to insure compliance. Essential responsibilities include facilitating compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company EHS policies, all permit requirements, and oversight and/or submittal of required periodic reports to regulatory agencies and overseeing waste management practices, and developing and coordinating emergency response preparedness, response and plans. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, environmental management, industrial safety, or related field is required along with excellent working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and 10 years of experience in relevant industry such as chemical, pulp and paper, ethanol or refineries.
