Health, Safety and Environmental Leader

This is an exciting opportunity in Fridley, Minnesota for a Health, Safety and Environmental Leader. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects. The right person develops & leads the overall Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) for the site. Responsibilities typically include the supervision of HSE Supervisors and Technicians, leading HSEMS Management Reviews with site leadership, training employees, interacting with regulatory agencies, leading pollution prevention efforts and health and safety management and control efforts, HSE objectives/targets, regulatory compliance, as well as maintaining HSEMS/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 certification. Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Engineering or Scientific field is required along with significant leadership experience. CSP preferred. Experience in environmental compliance management of Title V Air permit, Large Quantity Generator of Hazardous Waste, Underground storage tanks, NPDES permit and Superfund site. Experience in Ergonomics and Case Management is preferred.

They are currently hiring for our next Environmental, Health & Safety & Security Manager in Boston at our Samuel Adams Boston Brewery with the ability to travel up to 25% of time. The ideal candidate will provide Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leadership and support for the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery and A&S Taproom locations, provide direction to Site leaders and Department Managers on EHS issues, lead compliance, security, ergonomic and industrial hygiene programs and strengthen organizational EHS culture through employee engagement, ownership and accountability and behavior-based safety efforts; support LEAN and other process improvement initiatives. A four-year degree (BS/BA) in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science/Studies, or other applicable degree is required along with a 10+ years of Environmental Health & Safety EHS experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with managing a worker’s compensation program; overseeing claims reporting, record keeping and analysis is a plus. CSP/CIH-CP/CEP preferred. Sif Sigma Green Belt preferred. Cooper Tire & Rubber Company is an American company that specializes in the design, manufacture, marketing and sales of replacement automobile and truck tires, and subsidiaries that specialize in medium truck, motorcycle and racing tires. They are looking for a Corporate Manager of Global Environment, Health, Safety & Security who can provide managerial support and subject matter expertise to ensure appropriate EHS&S systems and resources are in place. This role will advise facility management on EHS&S matters and create EHS&S plans to ensure conformance with regulatory and company requirements. Through education and training and a “roll-up the sleeves” approach, the ideal person will drive the understanding and implementation of the company EHS&S management system. This position will travel extensively (global) and the ideal candidate will live near a major airport and work from a home office, if not local to the Findlay, Ohio area. A Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science or engineering or equivalent) is required along with 15+ years direct EHS&S experience managing proven EHS&S programs and solutions in a multi-facility environment. Must have strong substantive knowledge of regulations and guidance promulgated by Federal and State OSHA, EHS&S management systems and workers’ compensation requirements. MA preferred, CSP, CIH preferred. 70% travel.
