Program Coordinator
Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI); Boulder, Colorado or Oakland, California
RMI transforms global energy use to create a clean, prosperous, and secure low-carbon future. They are looking for two Program Coordinators with exceptional organizational and communication skills to facilitate successful execution of all operations within an R&C program, enabling maximum impact and return on investment. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that the knowledge developed by the program is effectively managed and communicated to relevant parties. The Program Coordinator drives efficiency across operations and supports successful execution by monitoring and reporting on progress, resource usage and performance to objectives. He/She also ensures program budgets and progress are reported to staff and funders, and that the program coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders to drive change. One position will be based in Boulder, Colorado, and one in Oakland, California. Experience with program content and proven ability to rapidly assimilate material, understand content and implications, and participate effectively in related programs a must - Knowledge of budgeting, finance, and activities of the PMO preferred. EHS Consulting Director

The Consulting Director will be expected to quickly develop meaningful relationships across the client account, with the goal of understanding how the firm can add value to the client's EHS program. This is a new position within the company, and one in which a collaborative approach will be required to ensure that internal consulting teams can effectively deliver on the additional workload that will be generated by the Consulting Director. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, EHS, business, or other related field is required along with previous consulting/business development experience, with demonstrated success of quickly growing client accounts.

Chubb Global Risk Advisors is a global consulting enterprise which provides health, safety, environmental, and engineering services to clients across the globe. The Global Client Executive (Northeast Region) is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large telecom, real estate, financial and institutional accounts located in the Northeast Region. Core services being provided to these customers included assessments and remediation involving Building Sciences (asbestos, lead, and mold), Industrial Hygiene, Transactional Due Diligence, Indoor Air Quality, general H&S, and various Environmental permitting, sampling and remediation support. S/he is responsible for achieving account retention goals and personal labor utilization objectives. Four year college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in science or engineering related field is required along with a minimum of seven years of Environmental, Health, and Safety consulting in the areas of Building Sciences (asbestos, lead, mold), Industrial Hygiene, Transactional Due Diligence, Indoor Air Quality, general H&S, and Environmental permitting, sampling and remediation support and three years of strategic Environmental, Health, and Safety consulting sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment. EHS Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is an American biotechnology product development company located in Waltham, Massachusetts, and was created in 2006 by the merger of Thermo Electron and Fisher Scientific. They are looking for an EHS Manager to run the environmental, health, safety and sustainability program at the Grand Island, NY site. The Grand Island site is an FDA regulated site primarily involved in the manufacture of cell culture media with supporting distribution, R&D, Customer Care and Quality Control departments. This position supports the global EHS strategy through a program that seeks to: Proactively manage EHS & Sustainability in order to comply with all applicable regulations and standards to achieve a safe work environment and minimize the impact to the environment. A Bachelors degree in safety, environmental management, and/or sustainability engineering discipline is required along with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in an environmental, health, and safety, related discipline and technical/practical knowledge of EHS regulations, codes, and guidelines. MA a plus, CSP/CIH/CHMM preferred. Some travel.
