They are looking for a senior EHS manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of EHS&S Programs, Company Risk and Worker’s Compensation and all reporting and filings as required by local and federal law, government agencies, non-government agencies and company policy. The ideal candidate will also proactively develop, implement and execute safety and risk strategies, education and training across Cole Haan (including Distribution, Retail, and Corporate HQ) and act as a corporate liaison and compliance officer for OSHA, EPA & NHDES regulation, compliance and reporting. A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Business, Organization Planning, or Related Health/Work Sciences is required along with 7-10 years of direct experience working in company-wide environment health and safety management. Minimum of 2-4 years management experience. HWC a must.

Responsible Care Manager
National Resource Solutions Inc.; Dallas, Texas
The Responsible Care Manager is responsible for providing direction and leadership for Responsible Care and Quality Management (ISO 9001) programs for Marketing & Logistics in North America. S/he will also ensure that all Responsible Care and Quality Management systems are developed and managed in compliance with the Company’s overall corporate objectives, applicable Responsible Care Codes of Practice and ISO standards, and is responsible for leading the Company’s Workplace Health & Safety, Security and Social Responsibility programs. This position also provides interpretation of applicable legislation, regulation and international standards as well as expert advice on emergency response preparedness, including transportation emergency preparedness and management of the company’s methanol MSDS program. Undergraduate degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemical, Environmental, Safety or Process Engineering) OR other science/technically based degree is required along with 15+ years’ experience in HSE and Responsible Care operations in the chemicals or petrochemical industry. Experience with managing Responsible Care and/or HSE program in a bulk petrochemical production or storage facility is an asset. Qualification in auditing techniques for both Responsible Care and ISO 9001 standard are essential in order to carry out the duties of the position. Knowledge of ISO 14001 a plus. 30% travel.

Corporate EHS Manager

H.O. Penn Machinery, the CATERPILLAR dealer for lower NY and all of CT, has an immediate need for a Corporate EHS Manager to oversee all five of our locations (Poughkeepsie, Bronx, Holtsville and Bloomingburg, NY, and Newington, CT). This position is based out of our Poughkeepsie, NY location. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: Plan, direct and implement key initiatives to ensure a positive, safe, healthy and incident-free work environment, ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and ensure compliance with DOT/FHWA regulations that govern our vehicle and fleet and drivers. Bachelor’s degree in any of the natural sciences, engineering, public health or demonstrated equivalent a plus. Five-plus years of experience in an environmental, health or safety position a must. OSHA 10 or 30 construction certified. CSP preferred. HAZWOPER preferred.
