Austin Energy is seeking an EHS Manager to lead its Occupational Health and Safety department. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for implementation of enterprise health & safety programs and services and manage Austin Energy's Occupational Health and Safety business unit. The manager will directly supervise and manage a team responsible for successful implementation of several enterprise health and safety programs tailored to Austin Energy's mission and operations. The Manager reports to the Director of Environmental Health and Safety Services and works directly with leaders throughout the entire organization including senior executives and the General Manager. You will provide leadership and direction for occupational health and safety, chemical hygiene, indoor air quality, Workers' Compensation, Return to Work, and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Drug and Alcohol programs. Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or in a field related to the job, plus 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety programs, including 2 years of experience which were in a supervisory/managerial capacity is required. Graduation with a Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for 2 years of the non-supervisory experience is a plus.

S/he will lead all site EHS leaders and influences site, region and global business partners to drive prioritization of regulatory compliance, continuous performance improvement, and integration of EHS performance objectives into standard work processes and models strong compliance mind set, draws on direct manufacturing pharmaceutical experience and develops strategies to achieve these goals in alignment with company business goals and values. Self-motivated, reliable, and persistent; is energized and motivated by identifying and developing talent. Must be collaborative and enthusiastic with a focus on the global team’s engagement and success. A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related science is required. Advanced degrees preferred. CIH, CSP, PE, CQA or lean sigma preferred. 35% travel.

Regional EHS Manager

DHL Supply Chain provides contract logistics solutions along the entire supply chain for customers from a wide variety of sectors. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The ideal candidate manages organizational HSE and compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations in Area of Responsibly (AOR). S/he partners with Senior Operations to implement regional HSE initiatives by providing technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards. This role should only be used within the Functional HSE team. It may have direct line or dotted line reporting of the Campus and Field Safety Manager and Supervisors. A Bachelor‘s degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field is required along with 5-10 years of experience managing HSE in an operational or functional support role. CIH/CSP/CHMM/CDS/CSS preferred. Working knowledge of NESC, NFPA, ANSI, NHTSA, NATMI a plus.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing EHS and security solutions in support of Cardinal Health assets in San Francisco area. These solutions are designed to manage, mitigate, and whenever possible, eliminate EHS and security risks to Cardinal Health employees, facilities, products and the communities in which the company operates. Operations supported include the Cordis manufacturing operation in Santa Clara, Connected Care operations, IDS operations, and the Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions operation in San Jose. A Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience along with 7+ years’ experience in related field is preferred.
