They are looking for an EHS Leader who will be responsible for leading the team’s commitment to the Product Safety Code of Responsible Care®, delivering product stewardship and sustainability support to the team and serving as a thought partner. Working as part of this dynamic team and under the direction of the Global Sustainability Leader for the business, you will help to enable success of the business while ensuring that the products being developed are safe, compliant, risk-managed, and trusted. You will also play an important role internally and externally helping develop new approaches to assess the safety and sustainability of products that utilize recycled raw materials. A B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainability, or a related scientific field is required along with 5-10 years of work experience providing product stewardship and regulatory compliance support. PhD in Chemistry or Toxicology preferred. Previous work experience in product certification, toxicology, green chemistry, or sustainability preferred.

Senior EHS Manager

The Astellas Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AIRM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Astellas Pharma and focused on the development and commercialization of stem cell and regenerative medicine therapies. They are looking for an EHS Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of EH&S programs, policies, procedures, and auditing functions for US Drug Discovery & Research sites within the Micro Contamination division. The ideal candidate assures compliance with employee occupational health and safety and environmental laws, rules, and regulations, applicable Company policies and procedures. This role is a member Operational management team and will report directly to the Head of Commercialization with a dotted line to the Global EHS, as well as, work closely with the VP of Technical Operations, R&D Leadership, and respective site leaders. A B.S. in Environmental / Health and Safety Science, engineering, or Applied Sciences degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Knowledge of federal and state regulations, industry standards and best management practices pertaining to occupational health & safety is a plus. Technical and practical knowledge of biotechnology, research and development and/or manufacturing is highly recommended. 30% travel.

Senior EHS Director

This is a nationwide position responsible for supervising EHS Managers located across the country. The selected individual can reside anywhere in the U.S. The Client needs your manufacturing experience and leadership qualities to assess, strategize and build their program, policies, standards and KPIs around environmental health and safety. You will set the vision and lead a team of EHS Managers who oversee the day to day EHS operations across the company and will partner with Plant Managers to ensure a zero safety-incident mind set is integrated into the daily operations. A Bachelor’s degree required, an emphasis in safety management, environmental engineering is required along with 10 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety in a manufacturing environment with 5 years of managing staff experience. EHS Manager

PepsiCo Supply Chain is looking for an EHS Manager who will contribute to the success of the PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) by ensuring regulatory compliance, accident prevention and after injury management at the Chicago and Oshkosh manufacturing locations. You'll deploy, implement, and own the EHS agenda by supporting the location manufacturing teams with integration of environmental and safety programs, Workers' Compensation, prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. You will also be asked to implement, execute, ensure compliance with the PBNA EHS policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/ (i.e. Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, SARA, RCRA, etc.) and conduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Zero Zone Management System standards, Emergency Response and and internal PepsiCo EHS procedures. A Bachelor's degree with greater than 10 years’ work experience in EHS is required. Safety degree and/or related certification preferred. ASP, CSP, CIH, and/or CHMM desirable.
