Senior EHS Engineer

Aerojet Rocketdyne is an American rocket and missile propulsion manufacturer. They are are seeking a Safety Engineer / Senior Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Engineer to review, analyze, and evaluate facilities, operating equipment, methods, practices, and procedures for compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulatory requirements, as well as company and site-specific standards. This includes preparation of reports and applications for safety-related permits/licenses. You will also participate, lead and/or support safety compliance programs for PPE selection, hazard communication, ergonomics, indoor air quality/industrial hygiene and related monitoring, fire safety/loss prevention, and contractor safety. A bachelor's degree in safety or a relevant science-based discipline with 5 years of directly related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. CIH/CSP preferred. DoD 4145.26M and/or OSHA VPP preferred. HAZWOPER preferred.

Safety, Environmental & Health Manager

The SEH Manager provides technical safety and environmental support to multiple production warehouse and corporate personnel. S/he monitors safety and health regulations and provides technical support to plant and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with federal and state safety and health regulations. You will work closely with staff in manufacturing, engineering, human resources, and research and development. In addition, you will supervise one salaried SEH Coordinator and three Waste Water Treatment Operators and provide for their training and development needs. Bachelor’s degree a must, preferably within Occupational Safety or Environmental. Previous experience with a minimum of 7 years within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager required. Preferred: Professional Engineer License, Level II Waste Water Treatment Operator Certification, OSHA Certification, Hazardous Material Training, CPR, AED, Oxygen and Advanced First Aid Training.

Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

Olam International is a leading food and agri-business company operating from seed to shelf in 70 countries. Olam is one of the world's largest suppliers of cocoa beans and products, coffee, cotton and rice. They are looking for an EHS Manager who will be responsible for managing the organizational Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) processes for the Agricultural Operations of Olam Spices and Olam Tomatoes to ensure a safe and accident-free workplace as well as preservation of the environment. The EHS Manager leads the process to train managers and employees in work site EHS practices. This position will inspect the organization's facilities and planting and harvest equipment to detect existing or potential accident hazards, and determine corrective or preventive measures. The EHS Manager will follow up to ensure compliance. This position will oversee the investigation of workplace accidents, root cause analysis and monitor corrective action implementation. The EHS Manager will maintain accident reports required by regulatory agencies, and will work with corporate EHS leaders to reduce injuries and lost work time, and maintain environmental compliance and preservation. A bachelor's degree is required, focused in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or EHS Engineering, along with 10 years' EHS management experience in an agricultural and/or manufacturing environment. SOP preferred. SAP-EHS, TREO preferred.
