One in Four Workers Still Fear Catching COVID-19 at Work
U.S. workers' fear of contracting COVID-19 on the job has waned over the course of the pandemic, but a certain amount of unease persists. About one in four employed adults still say they are "very" (6%) or "moderately" (20%) concerned about being exposed to the coronavirus at work, while a third are "not too concerned" and 41% are "not concerned at all."

How Will Republicans Influence Energy Policy In 2023?
Republicans will take over the House of Representatives in 2023, giving them some power to influence energy policy. The two main areas of focus for republicans appear to be repealing the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and pushing to promote U.S. energy independence. As the Democrats control the Senate and Presidency, there is a high likelihood of stalemate when it comes to significant energy policies in 2023.

Biden Interior Rule Would Limit Methane Leaks, Gas Flaring From Public Lands Drilling
The Interior Department has proposed rules to reduce methane leaks from oil and gas drilling on public lands. The proposal would impose strict monthly time and volume limits on gas flaring and require payment for flaring that exceeds those limits. Methane is a key component of natural gas and is 84 times more potent than carbon dioxide, but doesn’t last as long in the atmosphere before it breaks down.
